Visit to Deaf & Dumb school

A school which is just front of my house,Whenever I do Exercises or sit in the evening on the terrace these innocent,evercharming Happy little chaps attract my attention, their faces are always full of expressions ,unfortunately they are deaf & dumb.Sometimes I think - they can not speak nor can listen, still are facing life with courage and entusiasm, & we people who are well to do are physically fit feels depressed sometimes.
I always wanted to do something good for them, but what;I was not knowing.
& during Puja vacations I made my mind to do workshop kind of thing for these friends. Things I learned during our youth camp of college which we call "prayas", which is an idea of "Initiatives of change" will be good means to interact with them, I thought.In youth camp we try to give message through games & skit,which is very interesting way of learning, so we will be able to communicate with these people and they will atleast feel pleasure that others care for them. I wanted to tell them "आप िकसी से कम नही हो".
Initially I got a cool response and then I was surprised how my good friends came out with new ideas, suggestions & other helps.
Finally on 28th of october 2k6 , we decided to have a workshop in "shri harsha memorial school for deaf & dumb" at shap 11 o' clock.Spandan, Saumya ,Sadananda & charming cute guy Alok accomapanied me .
Initially It was looking tough to convert our wordings to their way, but their teachers really played a vital role in that,I will be very thankfull to them for this.The principal madam(Ms. Sanjukta Samantaray) was also very co- operative .
We thought that only class 10 people will be there, but madam advised us have whole school so total 111 students were there.


We played some really nice games like bridge & 'hold it' games.Presented banana skit & explained them a bit of PHUL(purity, honesty, unselfishness & love)which is main concept of prayas.
It was a very^very nice experience.They were very good learners, and were reacting very positively.they learnt our games and convinced us that they will be teaching it to their junior fellows.
The principal mam told us to work for their recruitments in various companies also.
At last we distributed chocolets & pen to our good friends, and took leave.
Now I understand why we call them special children.

I am a student.

The whole world is a big university,and each creature is my teacher ;
Everyday I face exams & I study myriad subjects.
Now the question is how much humble I can be as a student.

Army interview

Whenever I hear about Army ,My heart misses a pulse .
The lives of Army personnels,Their dress code ,Discipline, patriotism always fascinates me & army was coming in our campus, we were eligible so as our juniors.
When I was in +2,I could not give NDA in september2003 because I was below the required minimum age(sixteen & half) , I missed the form of march NDA entrance test then I joined Engineering.I also missed the last year notice of Army recruitment, So this time although I was selected for another company, I decided to sit for Army.
I took the front sit in preplacement talk.My other batchmates came late so were in back benches.
We were called for GD(group discussion) row wise, so my turn came 1st so too with all juniors.!!!!
Our topic of GD was "reservation quota", I did well & went for PI.
the only person came for our recruitment was Mr.M.P.Nanda , one man army.
He was happy to know that I was from Hariyana ,Punjab.
The answer of Tell me something about yourself was" I play basketbakll, Badminton etc. & I m a philanthrophist" He smiled and told--"Can u prove that u r Philanthrophist."
woops! I was caught.,But I said about Friends, My youth camp, Initiatives of change etc.
He told me to produce my extra curricular certificates and told me that u should also have some certificates in sports & games .
At last he told me that in his base also there are some people from mahendragarh district.
Result is awaited.
But I enjoyed the INterview.

selected for TVS

on 29 march ,campus recruitment result came out & I alone was selected for TVS motors from my clg.
my friends & every person i met congratulated me for success, even the persons with whom i never talked before were trying to have conversation with me.I was thinking that why ... why....???
they were actually congratulating my success & not me.cant they be friendfull to person i am, I need congratulation for my being here.
why the world always goes for success when the real enjoyment(mazaaa) is in trying hard for success.
I cant say about others But After getting a job atleast I became lazy.I was trying hard for personality developement, & was interested in GDs, Personal interviews but after I got job I never was sincere even for my regular courses.(ya! this was my fault).
So my other friends who were not selected early had better preparations & they might be having that keen interest for puzzles,GDs still with them.

The TVS recruitment took whole night of 28 march so I could not sleep properly in d night.
I slept in the evening as soon as I came from college.
Suddenly papa came,He made me wake up and said loudly(already papas voice is heavy)"CONGRATULATIONS".
I was startled I said in hurry---"For what".papa--"Are u not selected for TVS?"
then after a while I realized it was for selection. "Oh! ya" .I
